Promotion versus relegation, a tie not to be missed, as the Warriors make the 300 mile round trip to face off with Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Though the Warriors have been unable to beat Inverness over the years, we make the long trip north with a glimmer of hope after our cracking form in front of goal in recent weeks. We have the wind in our sails as we remain steadfast in poll position in the league.

Over the years, we have only marshalled a point against the Highland side, and that manifested this season. Our deserved point came in the Highlands in September after a hard fought 90 minutes against the already struggling Inverness side.

In the return fixture before Christmas, Inverness found joy in front of goal in the 86th minute. Despite being hot on the heels of Annan at the bottom end of the table, Inverness still find themselves in the relegation play off zone.

Despite a run of poor luck at the start of the season, Inverness have found themselves in a run of good form having comfortably won four of their last six games. The Warriors have accumulated some stalwart results themselves, and with a fuller bench, are a force to be reckoned within the final stages of the season.

With a promotion versus relegation tie on Saturday, all is to play for  with so much riding on another stellar performance from the Warriors as we aim to maintain our spot as league leaders.
