Inverness Caledonian Thistle vs Stenhousemuir

Match Report

This weekend we take the long journey north to face highland team, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, as we search for our first three points on the road.

This Saturday will be the first time in over a decade that we have taken on Caley Thistle and will see us play our 4th match against the highlanders. Saturday also marks the first time that we will have faced Inverness as a league opponent.

The last time we battled each other was back in 2012 in the Scottish League Cup. We were defeated on penalties with our last scorer in regular time being current assistant manager and former Warriors player, Brown Ferguson, who also captained the team that day.

Former highland player, Nat Wedderburn, who made 19 appearances for Caley Thistle will also along with Brown, be aiming to drive all three points back home.

Our latest addition to the squad Scott Tomlinson, who joins on loan from Ayr United, shared the team desire to bag all three points, “Travelling to Inverness will be another great test for us, but we’re excited to put on a performance that will merit something from the game.”
