About

Our Mini Maroons Programme is the very start of the player pathway at Stenhousemuir Football Club. It is aimed to introduce Pre-School Football to boys & girls aged between 2-4 years old.

The purpose of the programme is to develop basic motor skills, balance, Co-ordination, Communication skills & fundamental movements to each individual that comes to our classes.

In the last 4 years we have grown the programme and introduced more toddlers with the support from the ‘Tesco Bags Funds Scheme’ and our Sponsors ‘Tryst Dental Practice’.

We deliver in between 15-20 Nurseries every year to give every toddler the opportunity to play football and get active.

About

The Young Maroons Programme is the Heart & Soul of Community Football at Stenhousemuir FC and is aimed at introducing and developing football players from age 5 through to 15 years old in a range of skills and techniques.

Within our Young Maroons Programme we aim to improve players footballing ability as well as emphasising the importance of exercise for young people to develop good habits and improve social skills.

Our Young Maroons is delivered by Scottish FA qualified coaches and over the weeks we look to cover a variety of themes such as ball mastery, fakes and feints, changes of direction, dribbling & passing, dribbling & shooting or competition weeks.
