Jonathan Tiffoney signs for Stenhousemuir

The Club have added 28 year old Jonathan Tiffoney to the first team squad.

Tiffoney is making a return to the Scottish game after a 2 and a half year absence after a spell down south. He has considerable experience of the Scottish Leagues having make over 150 appearances in spells at Ayr United, Alloa Athletic and most recently Brechin City. Tiffoney has been training with the team for the last 4 weeks which has given Manager Davie Irons and Assistant Kevin McGoldrick time to assess him before offering him terms with the Warriors. Tiffoney can play full back and wide midfield and is available for this Saturdays Tunnocks Caramel Wafer Quarter Final clash with Partick Thistle.

Manager Davie Irons’s commented on his latest signing;

‘I am pleased to bring Jonathan into the Club, he has done well over the last few weeks. He is a player that will improve us and he also provides me with options as he can play in a number of positions. He is also an experienced player at this level so he is a good addition to our squad. I hope to continue to strengthen the squad over the next few months, we are working hard to identify suitable targets’

Tiffoney becomes Davie Irons 4th signing since returning to the Club after the arrivals of Conor McBride, Jordan Armstrong and Max Potter.
