Stenhousemuir FC can today confirm the signing of forward Greg Hurst on a deal to the end of the season.

The 21 year old striker was at St Johnstone for 3 seasons from 2015 making 3 appearances for the Perth Saints. He also had spells on loan at Berwick, Forfar and East Fife scoring 11 goals in the process.

McMenamin is pleased to add Hurst to the squad commenting;

‘We have been working hard to try and bring another forward into the squad and Greg is a player we have been speaking to for a few weeks once we heard he had left St Johnstone. He was full time for a few seasons and has gained quite a bit of experience at our level through various loan spells, scoring a few goals. We believe he will strengthen the squad and add some more goals to the team and at 21 he is at an age that we can work with and improve him’

Hurst is unavailable for tonight’s match as only players registered before the game at Pittodrie are available for the replay. He will however be available for selection this Saturday and is likely to make his Warriors debut away to Stranraer.

Welcome to the Warriors Greg.
