Warriors in the Community (WITC) ran their 2nd Annual Walking Football Festival last week at Ochilview Park which attracted 12 teams from across Scotland. Well Done to winners Heart of Midlothian Walking Football Team who beat St Johnstone on penalties in the Final.
The even was run by the Warriors Senior Community Coach Daniel Newbigging.
Daniel said; ‘I was delighted to host my 1st ever football festival within my first year at Warriors in the Community since moving from Falkirk FC. The event went very well and everyone involved had a great time taking part in a safe and controlled environment.
Head of Community Football William Hoggan added; ‘ We have delivered Walking Football for over 3 years at Stenhousemuir FC and the classes keep on increasing with more over 50s taking part in our programme. Great to see so many taking part in our Walking Football Festival and Well Done to Danny for a great event.
