Stenhousemuir will make the trip to Dumbarton on Saturday in the cinch league two hoping to have another good performance to keep them at the top of the league.

Gary Naysmith’s men go into the match after making it 5 victories in a row after hard fought 1-0 victory over Bonnyrigg Rose last Saturday at what was a snowy Ochilview. A goal from the on form Matty Aitken was enough to seal the 3 points and make it 5 wins on the bounce.

The gaffer previewed tomorrow’s game saying “It will be a real real tough game. It is a team when we played them back at the start of the season were really on top of us at the start of the game and they know what they can do to us.“

Kinlay Bilham also previewed tomorrow’s match saying “We saw it last time what could happen. We felt we were the best team; I know the result did not show that, but I feel if we get on top early on, we will have a real chance of getting something out the match.”

After naming the same side for 5 games in a row, we will have to make at least one change as Adam Brown is suspended after picking up a red card against Bonnyrigg Rose.

Stenhousemuir go into the match full of confidence with Gary Naysmith picking up November’s Manager of the month and Matty Aitken picking up November’s player of the month.

Dumbarton themselves come into the match off the back of 5 straight wins, with their latest victory coming last two weekends ago where they beat Annan in the Scottish Cup. The Sons were meant to play Peterhead last Saturday, but that match fell victim to the weather.

The Warriors will be hoping to get revenge after Dumbarton inflicted Stenhousemuir’s only league defeat if the season so far when they beat the Warriors 4-2 at Ochilview scoring all 4 in the first half.

The sons currently sit in 3rd place in the league on 26 points, 5 behind the Warriors but with a game in hand.
