Warriors sign Thomas Collins
Stenhousemuir Football Club is pleased to confirm the signing of Thomas Collins on loan from East Fife.
The 24 attacker joins the club on loan until the end of the season and is available for Saturdays Scottish Cup trip to Peterhead. The former BSC Glasgow and Beith Juniors player made the step up to league 1 after an impressive stint at BSC Glasgow where he scored 19 goals in all competitions.
The club had been monitoring his progress for BSC Glasgow however The Bayview side moved quickly to secure his services at the end of his contract when he joined on a 2 year deal. He has made 8 appearances for East Fife this season.
Collins was part of both the St Mirren and Queens Park academies before starting his career at Beith Juniors.
He can play either as a wide attacker or through the middle.
Manager Davie Irons welcomed his first signing of 2021.
‘We are really pleased to have brought Thomas into the squad, its a really good bit of business for the club, I am sure he will improve us. Collins is a energetic and dynamic attacking player who has shown he is capable both as a wide attacker in a 3 or as part of a 2 man strike force. We had some good reports from his time at BSC and have carried out some further work covering this season. He will add an energy and intensity to our play and will bring more goals into the team. Thank you to East Fife for working with us to complete the deal so early in the month, it allows us to include him in this Saturdays Scottish Cup squad’
