The Warriors are back in action tomorrow evening as we host the league leaders, Peterhead at Ochilview. This is a fixture rearranged from October due to the bad storms in the Dundee area.

Stenhousemuir, will be hoping to build on Saturday’s roller-coaster 3-2 victory as the Warriors came from behind twice to beat the Spartans. Matty Aitken twice cancelled out The Spartans goals from Bradley Whyte and Blair Henderson before Nicky Jameson got on the end of a Mikey Anderson volley to steer it goal bound and secure all 3 points for the Warriors.

Gary Naysmith previewed tomorrow’s match saying “The lads have a chance to win the game to go joint top. Peterhead’s motivation will be to go 6 points clear of us. I think it will be a good game, there is not much between the two sides, I think we saw that in the game up there.”

Ross Taylor also previewed the match saying “It will be a good game. It is a chance for us to put a marker down. They are a good side doing well. I can see it being two good teams going at each other.”

Peterhead also won 3-2 at the weekend, they defeated Stranraer with an 89th minute winner from Joe Mckee.

Peterhead have enjoyed life in league 2 after being relegated and are currently 1st in the league, just 3 points ahead of the Warriors in 3rd place. The away side have only lost 2 league games all season being defeated by The Spartans at home and Stranraer away.

The two sides met on the 2nd game of the season where a stalemate was played out. Two defences cancelled each other out up in Aberdeenshire.

The Warriors slightly edge it on the head-to-head record with 16 wins compared to Peterhead’s 14. There have also been 9 draws.
