The club are pleased to announce the signing of Zak McKay who joins the club until January
Zak was recently a member of the Rangers Youth Academy, and goes straight into Saturday’s squad against league leaders, Peterhead.
Gary Naysmith spoke to the website tonight on Zak’s arrival.
“Zak is a young player who has been training with us over the last few weeks and played and impressed in our closed door friendly win against Boness, assisting in 3 of our goals.
“We have now agreed a short term deal with Zak until January. This will allow us to continue to work with Zak on a Regular basis in the hope that he can force himself into the team and it also allows Zak a decent length of time to try and earn himself a longer deal.
“Zak is a quick player who is comfortable playing on the right or the left and although we have brought him to the club primarily as an attacking player, he can also play as a full back which gives us another player with good versatility.”
