The club are pleased to welcome Mark Ferrie to the squad.

The young striker joins The Warriors on loan from Motherwell and will be with us until January.

The website spoke to Gary Naysmith on bringing Mark to the club,

“We have been looking to add another striker to the squad for a period of time now and I am delighted that we have been able to agree a loan deal with Motherwell to bring Mark to the club, initially until January.

“Mark is someone who I tried to sign on loan earlier in the season but at the time I made the enquiry, Motherwell were reluctant to let him go out on loan due to his involvement in the first team squad.

“Mark has a very good work ethic and is a young hungry player who is as happy to run in behind, as he is to come short to link the play. He is someone that Stuart Kettlewell has high hopes for at Motherwell and we are delighted that both he and Mark have chosen Stenhousemuir to help with the next stage of his development.”

Chairman Iain McMenemey also paid homage to our principal sponsor, Loc Hire, whose support has helped bring Mark to the club.

“Loc Hire has been the club’s main sponsor for the past few years and their support has helped us pull together a really strong squad this season.  Dan Wharton from Loc Hire has really bought in to what we believe in as a strong community club, and with the way we have been developing our football department.  We’ve been able to bring Mark in to the squad thanks to Dan’s continued support and we are grateful to him.”

Mark is available for selection and goes straight into Saturday’s squad against Clyde.
