Here at Warriors in the Community we like to celebrate our successes and wins, no matter how big or small. Our 2023 Summer Camp concluded this week, which was very well attended.
318 individual kids across various age groups were present at our Summer Camps, which included 2 weeks of Gofitba Camps and 2 weeks of Scottish Gas Holiday Football. 33% of attendees at these camps were girls, with 56 free places also utilised by 28 separate kids. We also had 2 weeks of Girls only camps, which were hugely successful.
Head of Charity, Blair Cremin provided us with a few words:
“At Warriors in the Community, our Summer Camps are more than just a place for young people to play football. They are a place for them to have fun, make friends and build confidence. We are proud to have had 318 young people at our Camps this summer and look forward to the next one in October!”
