We’re delighted to announce the loan signing of Jacob Blaney. Jacob joins us from Hibernian until the end of the season and can play in defence or midfield. He made his Hibernian First Team debut on the final game of last season as the capital side beat St Johnstone 4-0. He also featured in the Premier Sports Cup as Hibs beat today’s opponents (Bonnyrigg Rose) 4-1.
Gary Naysmith spoke to the club’s website following the loan signing:
“We have been looking to strengthen our central defensive options for a few weeks now so I am delighted that Jacob has agreed to join us on loan from Hibernian until the end of the season. He is a current Scotland U19 international and has already made his 1st team Debut. He is a player who Hibs have high hopes for and we are delighted that they have chosen Stenhousemuir to help with the next stage of his development”
