Cook’s a Warrior again

The club confirmed a couple of weeks ago that Alan Cook had agreed to re-join the Warriors and last night he put pen to paper.
‘Cooky’ enjoyed a strong first spell at Ochilview where he made over 70 appearances scoring 16 goals before departing for Alloa at the end of the 2016-17 season. Brown moved in December last year to bring Cook back from the Wasps on loan to help the club in its bid for promotion. Cooky returned for the second half of the season and helped the Warriors achieve promotion via the play offs.
On re-signing at Ochilview Cook commented ‘I was never going anywhere else…. once I knew the gaffer wanted me here I was happy to return and help the club next season in League 1’
Brown spoke of his delight at securing Cooky for next season
‘We know what Alan is capable of. On his game he is a real threat. For whatever reason it never worked out for him at Alloa however he has a proven track record playing for us and i am sure the supporters will be pleased to have him back’
On behalf of everyone at the Club, welcome back Cooky!
Further transfer news later today as a former loanee signs for the club.
