The club has signed youngster, Duncan Laird, to play in the Forth Valley Football Academy at Under 11 level.
Duncan be viewed signing his registration form in the presence of club Manager, Brown Ferguson and Stenhousemuir FC, Honorary President, Terry Bulloch.
The player is the first youngster that has played at all levels of Stenhousemuir FC youth football.
He started with us at Mini Maroons level Under 3 level, progressing into the Young Maroons and then moved on to Stenhousemuir FC Community Select Teams then continued to Stenhousemuir FC Boys Club where he has developed so much that he was signed last night for Stenhousemuir FC and will play as a Stenhousemuir signing in the Forth Valley Football Academy at U11’s level this coming season.
Congratulations Duncan on becoming the first Stenhousemuir player to move through our pathway from the beginning to Academy level, keep up the good work and hopefully we will see you advance from there into the Stenhousemuir 1st Team in a few year’s time.
It proves that the clubs young player pathway works and hopefully others will follow suit in the coming years.
