Quiz Night
We would like to thank all those that entered teams in the Quiz on Friday night making it a very enjoyable, succcessful and busy evening it was also the largest attendance that the club has had for a quiz night.
It was practically a full house with 22 of the 23 teams turning up. The final team had to cancel at the last minute due to a bereavement in the family.
We can announce that we made in excess of £1,500 profit on the night through the Entry Fees, Raffle and Bar Takings which will be donated to the football club funds.
The club would like to thank all those supporters that donated prizes for the raffle and also thank the numerous helpers we had on the night without whose help we would have struggled.
Particular mention goes to Supporters Trust members Graham Wallace who compared the whole event over evening, we’re sure he must have a very hoarse throat today talking non-stop.
We would also like to thank Graham Mackie for his tireless work behind the bar during the night where his efforts brought in over a £1000 in bar takings.
The club would like to give a special thanks to Helen Ross, from H&R Catering who donated the interval buffet which was appreciated by all who attended.
Hopefully the club will be organising a similar type of event during the coming weeks.
