Last night at the Club’s monthly board meeting, Director, Bill Darroch, officially took over the reigns of Club Chairman from Martin McNairney who had indicated previously that he was standing down at the meeting.
Bill has been a Director of the club since 2002 and has been active in the day to day running of the finances in his role as Head of Finance at the club.
Bill has appointed fellow Director, Gordon Thompson, as his Vice Chairman.
Gordon has been a Director of the club since 2006.
Gordon through his company, Greenfield (Allsports) UK Ltd, was responsible for laying our 3G playing surface which was the 1st to be laid in the United Kingdom.
Gordon commented that he was looking forward to working with the new Chairman helping him to continue the progress that the club has made over the last decade.
