The club was saddened to hear of the death of lifelong supporter, Mr William Brown, who passed away peacefully on Sunday 16th October 2011.
The club would like to pass on its condolences to Willie’s family.
Willie was 94½ years of age, and was a lifelong supporter of the club and only stopped attending games a couple of seasons ago when he became too frail to attend matches. Nevertheless he always kept up with the team’s results and was never happier when he learned of a victory.
Willie, put his longevity down to the all important ‘half’ much to the amusement of his family.
He will be missed by all at the club and more especially by his family.
