The website was informed by Manager, David Irons, last week that Simon Lynch had indicated to him that he was thinking about retiring to pursue his music career.
The manager indicated to Simon that he should take a few weeks to think about it and reconsider, and that they would talk again closer to the start of pre-season training.
As things stand this is the current position and the Manager is due to speak to Simon again in the near future.
The club hopes that Simon will have a change of heart and we will see him at pre-season training.
