Club Chairman, Martin McNairney has tonight issued a statement informing our supporters that Manager, John Coughlin tendered his resignation to himself and Vice-Chairman, Bill Darroch, after today’s defeat at the hands of East Fife. Mr McNairney accepted his resignation and thanked John for all the hard work he had put in at the club in his 3 years as manager at the club in particular gaining the club promotion to the 2nd Division at the end of season 2008-09.
John has been very unfortunate having sustained long term injuries to key players and as a consequence the team has struggled to score goals due to this problem.
The club would also like to thank the John’s staff, Matt Kerr, Assistant Manager, Arthur Bell, Coach and Goalkeeping Coach, Alex Connon for all their hard work during their time at the club.
