Warriors in the Community have decided to continue with our ever successful Young Maroon of the Month Awards. These are monthly awards which will go out to one participant in each of our Young Maroons classes, Mini Maroons, Community Teams and Cumbernauld/Airdrie Maroons. The Awards for September will be presented by Stenhousemuir Football Club Chairman Martin McNairney at half–time during Stenhousemuir FC v Forfar Athletic FC at Ochilview Park on Saturday 18th September. The September Young Maroons of the Month are:

Young Maroons Saturday Session 1 – Adam Forrester- Adam is a joy to have at Young Maroons. His behaviour and willingness to develop are outstanding considering his age – week by week you can also see the improvements in his ability.Young
 
Maroons Saturday Session 2 – Mark Samson- Mark is a regular attendee at Young Maroons and when he is at the sessions he gives 100% each and every time. Mark has a very high level of respect for every one of our coaches.
 
Young Maroons Saturday Session 3 – Cameron Grant- Cameron’s behaviour at Young Maroons makes his a pleasure to coach. He is also improving his skills all the time and it is clear to see that he is eager to continue improving.
 
CST Under 8s – Luke Crosbie – Luke has had a great attitude in training and is always eager to learn more. His behaviour has been very good and his displays during matches have been outstanding.
 
CST Under 9s – Cameron Stein – Cameron has a fantastic attitude and willingness to learn. His performances in both the games and the training sessions have been outstanding throughout the month and he has acted like a real team player in helping along the newer members of the squad.
 
CST Under 10s – Jake Shearer – Jake is a very hard worker and totally focused during training and at games on Saturday. There is never any negativity with him and he is very much a team player. With his hard work and attitude hopefully this will rub off on the less experienced players.
CST Under 11s – James MacAdam – James has started the season really well and his defensive work has been superb in all of the games and has a great attitude and is a pleasure to coach.
CST Under 12s – Ross Allen – Ross has had a fantastic attitude in training and shows both of us a great deal of respect. He has also performed at a very high standard in each of the games so far.
 
CST Under 13s – Andy Baxter – Andy has had a superb start to the season this month being full off determination and fight no matter what the score. In training, Andy has proven himself to be a stand out amongst the rest of the Under 13’s with great standard of behaviour which is respected by all of the coaches. In Andy’s mind – nothing is impossible.
 
Girls Team – Alison Debio  Commitment, hard work and effort during training sessions has been second to none. Also, Alison plays each game with determination and willingness to succeed during recent league games.
 
Cumbernauld/Airdrie Maroons – N/A
 
Mini Maroons – Logan Kirkbride – A regular attendee at Mini Maroons who always tries his best and does everything he is asked to do. Logan’s skills are clearly developing as weeks go on and it is clear he loves participating in the class.
