Pictured above with club Vice-Chairman, Martin McNairney is Goalkeeper, Chris McCluskey who was presented with the Directors Player of the Year Award at the Clubs Player of The Year Awards in the Plough Hotel, Stenhousemuir on Saturday evening.
Chris had a very successful evening when he also picked up the following awards;-
Players, Player of the Year Award,
Supporters Club Player of the Year Award,
Junior Supporters Club Player of the Year Award,
Travelling Supporters Player of the Year Award,
Norwegian Supporters Club Player of the Year Award,
Striker, Robert Love won the Norwegian Supporters Club Fair Play Award having received the fewest number of cautions for an outfield player during the course of the season.
Wally the Warrior, aka Eleanor Taylor, won the Warriors Abroad Supporters Award for her antics on the pitch in her Wally the Warriors costume.
Julia Gordon, Linda Divers and Mary Anderson were also presented with bouquets of flowers for their tireless work in the Refreshment Kiosk over the season.
A special presentation was made to Ted Stokes, on his 70th birthday. Ted runs the bar in the Hospitality Suites on a match day Saturday. The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Ted for all his voluntary services to the club over many years.
The Awards ceremony was filmed by Warriors TV men Bill Casey and Campbell Hughes and will be shown on the website in due course. Bill and Campbell can also be seen shooting the proceedings. Bill is standing doing the filming and Campbell is having a wee breather.
