After an excellent charity campaign over the Christmas period the young maroons were delighted to hand over their donations to Childrens Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS). With great support from the Falkirk friends of CHAS the Young Maroons managed to collect £1000 but more importantly a whole stack of presents for the kids at CHAS.

The money and the presents were delivered to Rachel House, one of the hospices in Kinross by the lucky representatives of the Young Maroons who were chosen for their excellent attitude and application at the club. On a lovely sunny day the kids and their parents met with the staff and the kids at the hospice where they were met with both warmth and gratitude.

The picture above shows the cheque and the presents being handed over to CHAS representative Carla Hackett along with kids Leya and Josh. The Young Maroons were represented by Cameron McIntosh, Dale Ingles, Fraser Whitman, Callum Robb and Jamie McCormack and they were joined by Diane Macintyre from falkirk friends of CHAS without whom this would not have been a success.

This is a great charity and we would like to thank everyone who helped. As a club we are proud of the Young Maroons for their efforts and hope CHAS goes from strength to strength.
