Stenhousemuir FC and the Scottish Football Association have got together to offer a Modern Apprenticeship to 17 year old Paul Wilson, a former pupil at Denny High School, who has been a casual community coach the club for 2 years.
Paul has been employed for a two year Modern Apprenticeship with both the club and the SFA.
The club will deliver the practical tuition and the SFA will deliver the Theory and other skills packages required.
The course that Paul will be initially studying is an SVQ Level 3, in Coaching Adults and Children Association Football.
The Club has previously put Paul through levels 1 and 2 during his 2 years with the club.
The SFA will also put Paul through the Children’s Level 4, Basic Children Award during his apprenticeship.
The funding for the Modern Apprenticeship comes jointly from Skills Development Scotland and the European Social Fund.
