At the IRN-BRU SFL AWARDS last night the Warriors swept away the opposition by winning the IRN-BRU PHENOMENAL SCORE WITH IRN-BRU, 3rd Division award scoring 2939 votes to win the coveted £4,500 1st prize. We were 1405 votes ahead of our nearest challengers East Stirlingshire who in turn were awarded £3,500 as runners-up.

We would like to thank all of our supporters from near and far that took the time to vote over the course of the last 7 weeks it was well worth the effort.

The Club has earmarked the money to go directly to our very successful Youth Development Programme, where it will be used to help bring through other talented young players in the mould of David Templeton, Gary Thom and Robert Love.

Robert Love was nominated for the IRN-BRU SFL YOUNG PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD and finished 2nd runner-up behind the winner Leigh Griffiths from Livingston, so it shows that the Club must be doing something right with its youth structure.

Once again thanks for all your efforts.

Have a great summer and we’ll see you all next season.
